Trans in the City Awards 2024

The Trans in the City Awards are back for 2024, and nominations are open!

With six brand-new categories, and three returning categories, we want to recognise and celebrate those working to improve trans and non-binary inclusion.

This year’s categories are:  

Trans Ally

An ally helping the trans and non-binary community succeed.

Student Champion

A trans or non-binary student in higher education (18+) who champions the trans, non-binary or gender non-conforming communities and is active in promoting awareness making change happen.

Trans Corporate Champion

A trans, non-binary or gender non-conforming person making waves in the corporate world.

Trans Inclusive Organisation

An organisation that has been making real change to become a trans and non-binary inclusive workplace.

Trans Community Champion England

An individual or organisation based in England and working with the English trans, non-binary or gender non-conforming communities as a champion and role model. 

Trans Community Champion Scotland

An individual or organisation based in Scotland and working with the Scottish trans, non-binary or gender non-conforming communities as a champion and role model. 

Trans Community Champion Wales

An individual or organisation based in Wales and working with the Welsh trans, non-binary or gender non-conforming communities as a champion and role model.

Trans Community Champion Northern Ireland

An individual or organisation based in Northern Ireland and working with the Northern Irish trans, non-binary or gender non-conforming communities as a champion and role model. 

Trans Community Champion International

An individual or organisation based outside of the UK and working with the international trans, non-binary or gender non-conforming communities as a champion and role model.
